Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring a Strategy & Operations Manager that can 'work from anywhere' in the U.S. Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of GTM Strategy, the Strategy & Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives across Funnel's rapidly growing business. As an expert in the company's fraud and screening products, the successful candidate will be responsible for educating enterprise clients on their value proposition and building strong relationships with product, marketing, and finance teams to ensure success. In addition, they will own vendor relationships with various third-party SaaS vendors, assist with strategy development around ancillary revenue streams, and navigate a tricky regulatory environment to ensure legal compliance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes in a high-growth, constantly changing environment.

The Strategy & Operations Manager's essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Roles and responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on Funnel’s fraud and screening products and educate Funnel’s enterprise clients on these offerings and their value proposition
  • Operate in a cross-functional environment; develop a strong relationship with our product, marketing and finance team to ensure success of your priorities
  • Own vendor relationships with various 3rd party SaaS vendors
  • Assist with strategy development around Funnel’s ancillary revenue streams (e..g., insurance, payments, resident services).
  • Help navigate a tricky regulatory environment and ensure that our product is legally compliant and helping the end consumer, not hindering them

  • Creates a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Fosters collaboration within team and across the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion

Education, Work Experience and Certifications

    • 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, biz dev, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth or early-stage start-up experience is a plus
    • Experience working with and knowledge of screening and fraud related tools and processes
    • Proven track record of running initiatives, achieving goals, and succeeding in a team environment
    • Strong problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
    • Willingness to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
    • Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
