Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for an Sr. DevOps Engineer that can 'work from anywhere' in the U.S. The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for helping build, maintain, and monitor our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your role on the DevOps team will give you the opportunity to collaborate with engineers on multiple agile development teams as you facilitate delivering our product to clients. This position will report to the Director of Engineering Operations.

The DevOps Engineer essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Roles and responsibilities
- Building and maintaining our infrastructure platform built on AWS and Kubernetes
- Building out CI/CD and automated test infrastructure
- Building and maintaining a monitoring platform that provides engineering teams visibility into the systems they are building
- Anticipate, identify, mitigate, and resolve issues relating to client facing systems or services and application operation in conjunction with relevant teams
- Building a platform that makes it easy to ensure we remain secure and compliant
Culture
- Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Foster collaboration within team and across the company
- Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion
Education, Work Experience and Certifications
- 4+ years in a DevOps role
- Comfortable operating on Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with all levels of a tech stack, from networking to patching and to storage
- Comfortable with Python and BASH
- Experience building managing infrastructure on a wide array of AWS products (EC2, EKS, RDS, SQS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience building and maintaining infrastructure with Terraform
- Experience supporting a production Kubernetes cluster
- Postgres configuration and tuning experience
- Security hardening experience
- Experience with application development using frameworks like django or flask
