Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for an Customer Product Trainer. As a Customer Product Trainer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to educate customers on how to effectively use the Funnel platform, ensuring they fully understand its features and functionalities to maximize their product adoption and achieve desired business outcomes; this often involves creating training materials, conducting live sessions, providing ongoing support, and tracking training effectiveness to identify areas for improvement. This hybrid role requires candidates in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area to be located near a recording studio, conference room, or other controlled environment for conducting trainings. Candidates in Tampa, Florida, must travel to the Tampa HQ office in Odessa, Florida, to conduct trainings. This role reports to the GM of Professional Services.

The Customer Product Trainer essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, guides, video tutorials, and e-learning modules, ensuring content is up-to-date with product enhancements.
  • Create and facilitate engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person) tailored for various customer roles, including end users, administrators, and technical teams.
  • Develop client-specific training materials (training videos, training guides, documentation, etc.)
  • Work with Pro Services leadership to improve standard + paid training offerings.
  • Creates persona-based self-service education tracks that guide new users through the product, emphasizing practical usage over theoretical understanding
  • Assist with the improvement and expansion of external product documentation materials to communicate the product value better and assist customers in troubleshooting (in conjunction with product marketing)
  • Stay up-to-date on product updates and new features, ensuring training materials and programs reflect the latest enhancements.
  • Work closely with product managers, customer success, and support teams to understand customer challenges and incorporate them into training.
  • Utilize product + support team analytics data to identify areas for improvement and additional education
  • Identify super users and work with Product Marketing to create a community of Funnel advocates.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Foster collaboration within team and across the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion
  • If located in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX must reside near a "recording studio" or conference room or controlled environment to conduct trainings
  • If located in Tampa, Florida must be able and willing travel to Tampa HQ office to conduct trainings

    Education, Work Experience, and Certifications

    • 3+ years of SaaS training/education, preferably in a multi-product environment
    • 4-year college degree preferred
    • Proven ability to take initiative and lead a project from idea to success with minimal guidance
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to understand complex product features quickly and articulate how they can create value for customers across different mediums and channels
    • Deep empathy for end users and their pain points
    • Commitment to high standards, data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement, and teamwork
    • Understanding of adult learning + training best practices
    • Experience working with marketing, education, CX, and product teams
    • Ability and charisma to lead in-person trainings, webinars and virtual/pre-recorded training sessions

    Bonus Points

    • Experience in the property management / PropTech sector is a plus
    • Experience with Pendo, Articulate, Navattic, Storylane, SFDC Service Cloud, and LMS solutions is a plus
    • Prior startup experience is a plus
